The Aqua and Tangerine Tango

Because orange and blue are opposite one another on the color wheel (complimentary), it can be a daring pairing when considering a color scheme for weddings and interior design. This couple can be loud and care must be taken when inviting them to play in your decor dream.

A little white magic however creates the softened hues of Tangerine and Aqua. This refreshing pair is rapidly gaining in popularity in every design venue from fashion to food and I'm personally in love with it! Thanks to my Pinterest friends I've collected a few ideas that get my Aqua -Tangerine juices flowing. Enjoy!

Tutti i Fiori Studio: The place where I create.

About Me:

Many years ago I began using my camera to capture life’s miracles. I particularly observed people and flowers as subject matter. Encouraged by an award from Eastman Kodak, I continued my exploration.

My interest in nature shoots grew into a curiosity for the art of floral design. I took university courses which in turn created an opportunity of which I could work at the side of accomplished designers in New York City and surrounding east coast suburbs. This blessed association and tutelage not only supported my husband and I in college but led me to future interior floral design jobs and events work on the west coast.

As a busy at-home mom looking for a creative outlet, I opened a small store display in a local artisan fair to feature my designs for potential home and business interior floral design work. To accent my floral designs I created other unique décor items.

My little storefront within a store gathered a bit of attention and was pictured in a promotional book featuring The Best of Oregon. So, that’s my path in exploring what I love to do.

Activity guided more by imagination than fixed rules.

I believe that creating kindles and exalts the imagination and imagination reveals what the world can be. With each conscious movement in my work I feel a measure of inspiration and an overwhelming childlike, joyful state. It’s rather blissful and I like to be there as often as I can.

Within my creations I blend and layer a variety of materials and mediums that mingle much like water paints do when forming delicate new colors. Be it the use of a vintage swatch, antique button, or a brush stroke on my own photography the final integration most often results in a one-of-a-kind production.
